So....we absolutely tried to hit everything on California list before leaving this state.  And yes, we managed Yosemite in a day.  That's 8 hrs of driving and 6 hours of sightseeing.  It was absolutely gorgeous weather and it couldn't have been a smoother day trip!!

These two managed to brave Bridal Veil Falls - both had shoes that were soaked!!  So glad I opted out.  We still got mist, but no soaking!

As I type this post, our house has been turned over and we are packing our car for tomorrow's road trip.  Tears have been shed and hugs held.  Goodbyes stink.  There's no nice way around it.  We said goodbye to friends at the end of VBS - and even took one little look around Crossroads...our home away from home - and we are going to miss these people in this place.  We're tasting the bitter.....looking forward to the sweet!
